SMOFI is a volunteer-led 501(c)3 that depends on donations to support our programming. We currently support mentoring programs that serve about 50 youth in Wayne and Oakland counties, and we award six scholarships every year to high school graduates who are heading to college. This work is only possible because of the kindness of our supporters. We hope that you will consider making a tax-deductible contribution today! There are a few ways to support SMOFI:
ANNUAL GIVING CAMPAIGN
Our African American male youth need your donations during this period to enhance their chances at success in life. From our mentoring program to our college scholarship program, SMOFI is making a difference. Please make your donation today.
MENTORING
Our mentoring programs provide our youth with weekly group mentoring activities throughout the course of the school year. These programs are designed to improve or enhance academic performance, to teach youth valuable life and social skills, and to provide them recreation and enrichment activities through monthly outings. Your donation will help provide needed supplies and cover the costs associated with the outings.
SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM
Each year, SMOFI provides successfully graduating high school seniors an opportunity to earn a four-year scholarship award. This financial support assists students costs associated with attending the college of choice. We rely on donors to fund these scholarships, and all of the money contributed directly to us online is dedicated specifically to the scholarship fund. We hope you will consider making a contribution today o help our young people!

- Type the program (General, Mentorship, O.M.E.G.A Academy, or Scholarship) you wish to donate to in the Comment field. If you wish to split your donation, please note how much for each program. Ex. Mentorship 50% and Scholarship 50%.
